WHAT'S ROCK SHOT CAMP ALL ABOUT?
Looking for summer vertical fun while on vacation? This is your ticket.
The Rock Shot rock climbing camp is a 1 - 3 day summer climbing experience for youth between 11 and 17 years old. Campers may register for up to three consecutive days if they desire. Each day the campers will experience different climbs and learn more climbing skills. This camp is appropriate for novice and beginning climbers although we can accomodate more experienced climbers as well.
Build outdoor sport into your life! Rock climbing is one of many great outdoor sports. If you like to climb then building a solid foundation of basic climbing skills is critically important to the development of safe climbers and an appreciation and understanding of climbing.
We like to give our campers opportunity to decide on camp activities. Typically we spend at least two thirds of each day climbing and the remainder doing activities such as swimming, hiking, bouldering, etc. as desired by the group. It is our goal to send campers home with basic technical competencies, an understanding of safe climbing techniques and a greater desire to climb more.
Rock Shot campers should bring a packable lunch, beverage and snacks each day.
